My Story

Michelle was born and raised outside of Rochester, New York where she enjoyed spending her free time helping on her grandparents’ crop farm, riding horses, and playing sports. After completing her veterinary degree at Western University of Health Sciences in 2017, she practiced in southern California for 4 years. During this time she owned and operated an ambulatory livestock practice while also serving as a small animal general practitioner and ER practitioner. In 2021, she moved to Ames, Iowa to pursue a Ph.D. in Veterinary Microbiology and Preventive Medicine and a residency in Clinical Pharmacology from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
